The practice is active in running the local clinic at Parkside Sports & Community Club, Rivington Avenue, Golborne, WA3 3HG.
If you are over 37 years old and have not been contacted to arrange an appointment for your FIRST vaccination dose you should contact the practice or call NHS 119.
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE PRACTICE FOR SECOND VACCINATION APPOINTMENTS unless you are past 11 weeks post first dose of vaccine, are housebound, or do not have a mobile telephone.
All those with mobile telephones will be contacted directly by text and sent a link to use to book the next dose.
The UK Government recently announced that Covid19 Vaccine Passports will be made available in England from the 17th May 2021 on the NHS App – the NHS App is different from the NHS Covid19 App, therefore you should be aware not to confuse the two apps.
The link below gives you details of how to download the NHS App to any internet connected computer you may have or to your Smartphone.
Please do not contact the Surgery to ask about the downloading the Vaccine Passport, as Surgery staff cannot do anything to make it visible.
Covid vaccination clinics have been underway since January 2021:

If you have any difficulty in getting your second dose please contact the practice as soon as possible.
If you are aged 12-15 years old with an immune-suppression condition, please contact 01942 807780 to book your first or second dose of covid 19 vaccine.

If you require urgent medical assistance that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens please go to the Out of Hours Information page for telephone numbers to use.

If you have a life-threatening medical emergency please dial 999.
Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.

We also offer extended hours via Wigan GP Alliance every weekday evening between 18:30 and 20:00, and at weekends between 10:00 and 16:00.
