The UK Government recently announced that Covid19 Vaccine Passports will be made available in England from the 17th May 2021 on the NHS App – the NHS App is different from the NHS Covid19 App, therefore you should be aware not to confuse the two apps.
The link below gives you details of how to download the NHS App to any internet connected computer you may have or to your Smartphone.
Please do not contact the Surgery to ask about the downloading the Vaccine Passport, as Surgery staff cannot do anything to make it visible.
If you do not want to use the NHS App Covid19 Vaccine Passport, then after the 17th May 2021 you can telephone 119 to request that a paper certificate be posted out to you (which will take at least 5 working days to reach you by post).
If you feel the details shown on either your NHS App or your paper NHS Vaccine Passport are incorrect (for example your passport may only contain details of one dose of Covid19 Vaccine, when you may have already had your second dose); in which case please feel free to contact the Surgery to discuss the matter further and Surgery staff will aim to correct the matter.
