AskmyGP – new service June 2020
The practice is happy to announce that we now have AskmyGP to help our patients contact us easier and faster:
- AskmyGP is available 24/7, no waiting for the phone to be answered, use a PC or mobile phone with internet access
- Signing up is quick and easy, no paperwork necessary
- We usually get back to you within 1-2 hours where possible, and will see you same day if needed
- AskmyGP is NOT for urgent matters – please call the practice if your need is urgent
- Please note it can be up to 24/72 working hours dependent on the days of the week etc.
- The hours we will be available to respond are 08:00 – 17:30 and up to 12:30 on Wednesdays
- If you leave a message after 17:30, or on Wednesday afternoons after 12:30, it will be seen the next day and handled accordingly
- This service is for all registered patients, parents and carers
- You can sign up as Proxy on behalf of another patient (consent is needed where there is capacity)
- You can request a message, telephone, video or face to face consultation, but due to the type of question and at the discretion of the clinician you may not receive the type of response originally requested
- You can name a GP if you wish (as long as they are working on that day)
- You can message us about a medical problem (non urgent)
- Medication queries (for acute or repeat prescriptions please use your SystmOne online account)
- Test results
- Administrative queries
